In the early part of Queen Victoria's reign the cardboard juvenile theatre was the most popular toy in Britain, and we had long felt that it was due for revival in a lower cost and easy-to-assemble form.

Our theatre is die-cut so that the pieces are merely pushed out and slot together without the need for glue. It comes in the form of a large 40.5 cm x 28 cm book with perforated pages to make a model some 38 cm high, complete with characters, scenery and script.

Similar to Shakespeare's Globe theatre, this comes with the characters and a 600-line version of A Midsummer Nights' Dream.

Not suitable for children under 3.
